At the first day of the Wallace of Kelso Sprayer Demonstration event which took place near Kelso in the Scottish Borders. A beautiful sunny day attracted a steady flow of farmers throughout the day. Many spending time with Terry and Cliff who were demonstrating a GEM-Trak 4200 – 24m trailed sprayer and a FS1200 – 24m mounted sprayer. The undulating field was a real test for all of the machines demonstrated by the four manufactures attending. A test the FarmGEM machines passed with flying colours! Many farmers being impressed by the performance of the GEM-Trak axle steering and how well the boom suspension systems coped with the rough field conditions. It was also good to meet several farmers who still have original GEM Sprayers some of which are now twenty years old. It was also good to hear how impressed they were with the new FarmGEM machines.
